Iron Lilies

It was our first time at Iron lilies and it was a first rate experience and a place we will definitely be returning to...................................................... Firstly thanks to Chelsie and Bailey for making the night great well done guys (you certainly deserved your tip.) We had pre-booked and upon arrival were promptly addressed and shown to our table. The decor was lovely and the general vibe was great, not to busy but still buzzing and lively, it reminded us of larger more recognised establishments so well done to the management and owners for bringing something special to Hull. The staff were attentive and sorted our drinks order whilst we were choosing from the menu. We were asked if we had any dietary preferences/allergies. The was menu was good and wasn’t over the top, easy to decide We chose the artisan board for a starter and a selection of small plates for our mains. We asked for a gap between the starter and the mains to give us time to enjoy and soak up the atmosphere (also get a couple of cheeky cocktails in as well!). The mains arrived and just like the starter was well presented and appealing. We finished with the sorbet selection which was perfect for cleansing the pallet. The drinks menu was good with a mix of wines, beers, spirits and cocktails of course non alcoholic drinks available as well. We retired to the bar area and sat and had a chat with the staff whilst having a few more drinks, I’d recommend the Oaxaca Heat it was a nice and refreshing cocktail. All in all a lovely place and definitely worth going to...

Lovely experience at Iron Lillies. Beautiful inside. The cocktails look amazing and are averagely priced, I had a non alcoholic one as I was driving and it was absolutely gorgeous. The food is small plates so between the two of us we had 6 which are on a deal 3 for 24. The meatballs were so tasty as where the bao buns and Korean wings. There is also lots of vegetarian options. A definite must try for anyone wanting to try a new upcoming restaurant.

The first time me and my husband visited iron Lillie’s we had an all round 10/10 experience. The food was amazing, staff were polite and helpful. We returned last night for our first valentines as a married couple, and although there was some minor issues with the food, our server chelsie made our night, she went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time and both me and my husband were very grateful for that. That girl deserves a pay rise! Thanks for a catering to a wonderful evening!

My daughter and I visited on Good Friday afternoon for nibbles and cocktails. We had never been before and were stunned by the styling of the interior! It is absolutely beautiful and a very unique concept for Hull. There was a wide range of cocktails - very unique and reminiscent of the Alchemist. Princes were similar too ranging by from 10-12. We also ordered an artisan board which included cheese, focaccia, chutneys, meats etc - it was very good for 14. Lukas served us throughout our visit. He was very courteous and welcoming. I will definitely return for food and for drinks!

We had the pleasure of attending the VIP launch, and we were not disappointed! You wouldn't think you were in Hull! A friendly welcome, to a lovely vibe, chilled music, and chic, elegant decor. This gem of a place definitely has the WOW factor! A choice of beautifully thought-out eating areas to suit everyone. It's got it all! The staff went above and beyond, considering it was the first night and an extremely busy one. There was a great selection of cocktails, wines, and more, and we were treated to a variety of delicious canapes. We will be back!!

Food, atmosphere, and drinks were all lovely, and our server Aliona was smiley, helpful and attentive. Live music was a nice touch too! Price was a little high, but then I would pay it again for special occasions, as I really have no complaints!

Me and my partner had been planning a visit to Iron Lillies on one of our many trip to Hull - and we only wish we’d have visited sooner! As a fussy eater, I was able to easily select a dish that could be adapted to suit my picky palette, while my partner enjoyed a delicious pulled pork dish with spicy rice. We were spoiled for choice with dessert but went with brownies and a trio of cheesecakes - which were all delectable! Most importantly, we were looked after by an accommodating and welcoming server - Dan - who ensured our first visit wouldn’t be our last! We will definitely be visiting again soon to enjoy the serene setting and delicious food!

I went to Iron Lilies for a Sunday Roast without any real expectations - wow, was I blown away! The food was absolutely phenomenal, and the value was unreal (16 for a roast this good?!). Every element was cooked to perfection - the veggies were spot on (special shoutout to the carrots), the meat was tender and flavourful, and the gravy and Yorkshire puddings were pure comfort food heaven. We also ordered the cauliflower & broccoli cheese as a side, which was a bold move given the generous portions, but it was so delicious we had no trouble finishing it. The atmosphere was stylish and inviting, the service was fantastic, and the drinks were just as great as the food. 10/10 - already counting down the days until my next visit!
